1. What savd.site is

savd.site is a leaderboard for growing newsletters. The Site allows visitors to discover, save, like, and click through to newsletters. Creators can submit their newsletter for a free listing. Advertisers can purchase time-limited spotlight slots to promote their newsletter on the homepage.

2. Free newsletter listings

Submitting a newsletter to savd.site is free. By submitting a newsletter, you confirm that:

• The newsletter is a legitimate, actively published newsletter
• You have the right to list the newsletter (you own it or have permission to promote it)
• The information provided is accurate and not misleading
• The newsletter does not facilitate illegal activity, harm, or deception

We reserve the right to remove or unlist any newsletter at any time, for any reason, without notice. Common reasons for removal include: the newsletter is no longer active, the listing contains false information, or the newsletter violates these terms.

3. Spotlight advertising slots

Paid spotlight slots place your newsletter card in the rotating side columns on the homepage.

• Duration: Each slot is active for 30 days from the date of payment.
• No auto-renewal: Slots do not renew automatically. You will receive a reminder email 5 days before expiry.
• Payment: Payment is processed via PayPal. Slots activate upon confirmed payment.
• Refunds: Slots are non-refundable once activated. If a slot fails to display due to a technical error on our side, we will extend the slot by the number of days affected.
• Content: We reserve the right to reject or remove spotlight content that is misleading, illegal, or violates these terms. In such cases a refund will be issued.
• Rankings: Purchasing a spotlight slot does not affect your newsletter's position in the leaderboard rankings.

4. Creator referral program

savd.site offers an optional referral program where creators can earn a commission for referring other creators who purchase a paid spotlight slot. Referral commissions are disclosed to participating creators in their dashboard and do not affect newsletter rankings on the leaderboard, which are based solely on reader engagement.

5. User conduct

When using the Site you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent newsletter listings
• Attempt to manipulate rankings through automated saves, clicks, likes, or other artificial means
• Scrape or copy the Site's content in bulk without permission
• Attempt to access the Site's backend systems, databases, or admin interfaces without authorisation
• Use the Site to promote newsletters that facilitate illegal activity, malware, or harm to users

6. Intellectual property

The design, code, and written content of savd.site are owned by us. Newsletter names, logos, and descriptions submitted to the leaderboard remain the property of their respective owners. By submitting a newsletter, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display the newsletter's name, description, and branding on the Site.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

savd.site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Site will be available at all times or without interruption
• Newsletter rankings accurately reflect real-world quality or value
• Listed newsletters will continue to be published as described after listing
• Referral commissions will result in a specific level of earnings for participating creators

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, savd.site and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including losses resulting from reliance on newsletter listings, referral earnings, or spotlight slot advertising.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
